Alia Takes to Instagram
Commemorating November 6th as the most special day of their lives, Alia posted about her daughter’s arrival on Instagram, “And in the best news of our lives – Our baby is here… and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love – blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!! Love, love, love, Alia and Ranbir.”

The celebrity actress gave birth to her baby girl at Mumbai’s H.N. Reliance Hospital, where her mother and sister – Soni Razdan and Shaheen Bhatt – along with Ranbir Kapoor’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, were present. Alia’s father, Mahesh Bhatt, told the E.T. Times about his grandchild, “Waiting for a new sun to rise. A fresh sparkling dew drop of life.”
Celebrities Chime in with Congratulatory Messages and Posts
Shortly after Alia’s Instagram post, fellow celebrities began leaving a trail of happy messages and comments to congratulate the new parents. “Hugest congratulations to the parents and lots of love and blessings to the baby girl,” reposted Anushka Sharma, followed by a heart emoji.
Neha Dhupia was found commenting, “Congratulations. God bless all three of you, biggest hug ever.” Sonam Kapoor also commented on her wishes on Alia’s announcement post, “Congratulations darling girl cannot wait to see your princess (sic).”
Akshay Kumar, who is also a father to a daughter named Nitara, tagged Alia Bhatt and shared his heartfelt wishes, “Congratulations!!!! @aliabhatt, Ranbir. No bigger joy in the world than to have a daughter. Bless you, all.” Akshay Kumar’s Instagram comment was closely followed by Madhuri Dixit, who wrote, “Warmest wishes and congratulations on the birth of your sweet baby girl.”

Fans Congratulate Ranbir on His Wish Being Fulfilled
Along with celebrities, fans also began pouring in their congratulatory wishes across Instagram and Twitter, remembering Ranbir’s wish to be the father to a daughter. One fan was found tweeting, “Alia wanted a boy, Ranbir wanted a girl. This time Ranbir’s wish got fulfilled.”

Showered with immense love, the couple brought their baby girl home on Thursday, accompanied by Ranbir Kapoor’s family.
The Start of a New Life
In August, the star couple celebrated their ‘babymoon’ in Italy. Alia Bhatt, pregnant and elated, shared a post of her husband gleefully dancing to the beat of the song, ‘Deva Deva’ from Brahmastra. Alia captioned the post as ‘light of my life followed by several fire emojis.
The couple’s lives are lit brighter now with the arrival of their little sunshine. As for Bollywood, its list of celebrity kids has seen a brand-new addition. The next big news will undoubtedly be the little one’s official name. Alia has revealed that she and Ranbir will share parenting responsibilities, and he wants her “to get back to work soon.”
